There’s a funny little story accompanying these pics. I only chanced upon this small beach in Cala D’or after getting back from a day trip to the larger Es Trenc beach (Santanyi).

My travel buddy and I had a one of those friend-fights the day before (DO NOT MESS WITH ME AND A MAN UTD CHAMPIONS LEAGUE SEMI FINAL MATCH..). We both needed some cool off time, so I planned a trek to Es Trenc and gave her the apartment keys because she would be nearer by that day. 

When I got back in the early evening, guess who wasn’t at the apartment? Lol. I went for a stroll, exploring the network of neat and shaded residential streets. This was a nice turn of events. The weather that day had been patchy with light showers, but at around 6-ish, the skies were blue as the sun drew in. 

These are a couple of the pictures I took on the little beach at the end of a street.

My clue? Drenched children in their swimsuits running up a pathway with their little boogie boards and towels. Eureka, somewhere to wile away time and take in another sea view.
